Our travel in England

Unfortunately, it's the last day :(

This morning, we had to wake up at 5 o'clock a.m. But one of us didn't adjust his phone at the english hour so she came in the bedroom's friends at 4 o'clock, english hour (5 o'clock in France) . The two others were very angry against her because they were tired.

Conclusion: When you are not in your country, don't forget to adjust the hour. 

After this little incident, let's go to Shakepeare globe theater, crossing by :

The St Pauls Cathedral:

 The Millenium Bridge:

 The Tate Gallery:

 Then, we arrived at Shakespeare's Globe Theater :

 And we visited it :

positive point : we  learnt the history of theater

Negative point: there were a lot of people

Then, someone gave us a lesson of theater.

Note:8/10

Positive point : it was cool to learn a new forms of theatre.

negative point :it was short.

For the last visit, we went to the London Museum:

Note: 7.5/10

Positve point: we saw London through the ages.

Negative point:this was a little long.

and on the way back to the bus we saw Tower Bridge and New City Hall:

 And we went back to France with a lot of memories in the head.

The third day, in the morning, we visited Oxford.

At first, we went to Christ Church College. We saw few rooms where scenes of Harry Potter were turned like the stairs:

Unfortunately,we didn't see the dining room because it was closed.

Also, the Christ Church College contains a chapel for the etudiants.

Note: 8/10

Positive point: it was very cool to know that celebrities went there.

Negative point: we were a little disappointed not to see the dining room

Then, we did a guided tour of Oxford, we saw:

the cat's tree which inspired Alice in Wonderland 

 the library :

Positive point: we learnt interesting things.                                                                                                               Negative point: it was a little bit long.

After the lunch, our professors decided to make us discover a new sport: the punting 

Note 9/10

Positive point: it's very funny and we saw beautiful eyesight.                                                                                       Negative point: unfortunately, for us, it was raining.

Next, we took the bus to go to a supermarket:

 After the shop, we took the bus to go in the family.

After a deserved rest, we left to a crazy day in stratford, Shakespeare's town.

In the morning, we walked in Stratford for a guided tour and we past in front of:

The Royal Shakespeare Theater: it's very impressionant, even outside.

 The Stratford church: it's the church where Shakespeare has been buried.

 The Suzanna's house: It's the house of  Shakespeare's daughter.

After that, we ate and we went in an imperial bus !!!!

Positive point: very funny and beautiful eye sight

Negative point: we took many branches in our face.

To finish: we went to Anne Hathaway's cottage (Shakespeare's wife)

Note:7/10

Positive point: it's very interesting to see how was the life before.

Negative point: The attent before was very long.

Then, we returned to the family to meet our bed.

After 24 hours in the bus ( the plane is more expensive but is better and shorter) we arrived in London at 7 o'clock a.m .

For our first visit, we had to visit the National Gallery. To arrive there, we crossed a part of london, so we saw :

- Buckingham Palace: beautiful place with St James Park behind .

 Big Ben and westminster : a place not to miss .

 Piccadilly Circus: this is a little Time Square

 Trafalgar Square: the fountains are very wonderful and the coq statue is very original

 Then, let's go to the National Gallery ! 

The National Gallery is a museum of painting which contains " the whistle jacket" and other beautiful paintings.

Positive point : Its sofas were very confortable

Negative point : it could be long for children (but our visit was very fast)

The afternoon: Covent Garden !!!!

It's a big place with a market and many street performers.

Note: 9/10

Positive point: There are a lot of different shops, you can find all that you want.

Negative point: There are a lot of people, it's easy to get lost.

After this hectic day, we took again the bus to meet the family who welcomed us this week.

We are three french young girls, we had a fantastic week in England and we would like to share this experience with you !!!

Our college is used to organize a travel one every two years and this year, we had the luck to participate to this travel.

So, the 24 march 2014 at 10h30 a.m, we took the direction of England and our adventure began !!!
